1) What qualities did Sinclair believe a person must have to succeed in Packingtown?
For the qualities Sinclair said you had to be a big strong man, that could not break down easily, week men would break down easy

2)According to the passage, what is the plant owner's main goal.
According to the passage all the plant owners wanted was more money and cheep labor.

3) What does Sinclair mean when he says, "...there was no place in it where a man counted for anything against a dollar....?"
 He means that no where in the factory was a man worth more then a dollar. meaning they did not care for the life of the men.
